3.The shampoo tips
Many think that the curly hair community that co-washing—or washing only with conditioner —is the way to go. People believe that shampooing is really not good for curls, because the majority of shampoos contain sulfates, and they will rob the hair of moisture—important for frizz-free curls.
But the key to keeping healthy hair, is a healthy scalp—and if the scalp hasn’t been cleaned, there’s ends up being a lot of build up at the roots, which can destroy the health of the hair. So if you don’t use shampoo every time when you wash, you need shampooing at least a few times per month to clean the scalp. And you shouldn’t cleanse your curls with a harsh shampoo. Use a mild shampoo that will refresh your hair and scalp without stripping away too much of its natural moisture and oils. Many curly girls even go a step further and dilute their shampoos with distilled water.
